Chee Huie obtained his Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from University of Sheffield, United Kingdom in 2004. He was called to the Bar of England and Wales in July 2006. He was admitted as an advocate and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Brunei in September 2007.

Chee Huie’s main area of practice is civil litigation. He handles debt collection, landlord and tenant disputes, personal injury matters,matrimonial disputes, partnership disputes and intellectual property matters. He is also experienced in the preparation of sale and purchase agreements for landed properties, development agreements, securities documentation and partnership agreements. Alongside all those, he also provides advice to local banks on banking laws and related areas.
