Ali has been employed by the Brunei Investment Agency (2012 – 2014) where he worked with their in-house counsel to handle corporate governance, provide legal advice and participate in negotiations. Ali was also later employed with the Attorney General’s Chamber of Brunei (2015 – 2024), where much of his time was dedicated to civil litigation. In addition to litigation, Ali also advised on contractual matters on behalf of the Government.

Ali’s practice now focuses on providing comprehensive legal advice to the Firm’s domestic and international corporate clients. His work also includes drafting and reviewing contracts and representing financial institutions in commercial litigation.
