Abdul Muqtadir’s practice focuses on civil litigation, with substantial experience in areas such as banking, insolvency, landlord and tenancy, and personal injury. He regularly represents financial institutions, oil and gas companies, food and beverage corporations, and family-owned businesses in commercial litigation.

In addition to litigation, Abdul Muqtadir advises both domestic and international clients on Intellectual Property (IP) matters and has extensive experience enforcing IP rights for clients across various industries. He has also completed the JPO/IPR Training Course for Practitioners Specialising in Trade Marks organised by the Japan Patent Office in 2024.

Abdul Muqtadir also offers extensive regulatory and compliance advice, covering Brunei’s Data Protection Laws, anti-competition regulations, employment law, telecommunications law, financial services and media law.
